Welcome 2021! Welcome, fellow cardmakers!
It’s a brand new year... and time for a brand new monthly challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids! But before we get to this month's challenge, we have a couple of DT announcements!
As we start a new year of challenges, we are thrilled to have two new members joining our SAS4Kid DT. Bobbi and Celeste are longtime cardmakers, bloggers, talented crafters, and all around great gals! Welcome, Bobbi and Celeste! We are thrilled to have you on our DT and can't wait to see your kid-friendly card creations!
And, our Send a Smile 4 Kids family is sending a special shout-out to a papercrafter near and dear to our hearts. For ten years, Karen has coordinated all things SAS4Kids... and we do mean ALL things. Karen has been the heart and soul of this wonderful organization. As Karen steps away from her day-to-day involvement with SAS4Kids, we offer our heartfelt thanks for all she has done to bring big smiles to young faces. Thank you so very much for everything, Karen! Lucky for us, you've graciously agreed to stay on as an SAS4Kids Designer!
Now for this month's challenge. Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, our DT is featuring Valentine and Love Cards 4 Kids. These are cards that would be appropriate for a parent or hospital staff member to give to an inpatient child/tween/teen. However, ANY kid/teen/tween-appropriate card can be linked up for the monthly challenge and will be eligible for Top Three recognition.
And here's a little inspiration, brought to you by the talented gals of TEAM S.A.S. To visit any of their blogs, just click on the link above their card.

You have until Friday, February 5 at noon CST to enter this challenge. After you've linked up your card, please consider sending it to an inpatient at one of our children's hospitals. Due to Covid-19, not all our hospitals are currently accepting cards. Shippers' current needs, as well as card guidelines, can be found under the tabs at the top of the page.
