Teddy Bears and Other Animals (For Kids) Challenge

Welcome to a new challenge here at Send A Smile 4 Kids! We are challenging you to make a fun card for a child using Teddy Bears or Other Animals. Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is
Digi Doodles Shop and their awesome prize is a $10 gift certificate to their online store! Everyone who enters has an equal chance at this prize as it is a random drawing, and we also choose our top three cards and they receive a blog badge of honor.

Our Special Guest Designer is none other than the fabulous Jacque Joie Vivre, who was gracious enough to join us at SAS4Kids for this challenge. Her fantastic card is above. Jacque is on the Design Teams for Wild Orchid, LOTV, Just Magnolia and is a Copic Certified Designer. She has a heart as big as gold and a spirit full of kindness; that must explain why she has 3645 followers. WOW! As you can see, she creates beautiful cards and shares them with her followers, literally. She truly is an inspiration.
Jacque is, in her own words:  "I am a retired college professor who readily admits to a stamping addiction and I am NOT in search of a 12-step plan to overcome it. The cute munchkins in the stamping world have found their way into my heart and I get much joy from showcasing them with paper and coloring. I kinda enjoy these paperdolls for grown-ups!!"
Jacque is offering some BLOG CANDY TODAY on her blog to promote SAS4Kids, so please visit her blog at   http://jacquesmagnolias.blogspot.com/ for all the details and to be inspired by her awesome cards. Leave her some love and thanks for helping us out today and who knows, you might be the winner!

Here are our design team Teddy Bears and Other Animals cards to inspire you. For details on their card and to see their blogs, just click on the names.  (Most of the teddy bears are digital stamps from our sponsor, Digi Doodles Shop.)

Just a little about me. I am a 48 year old that loves life. I have two grown sons and have been married 28 years to my best friend. We live in Northern Wisconsin so I have a lot of time to work on my projects in the Winter.  The rest of the year I buy out my time.  I have loved crafts all my life. I started my first scrapbook when I was in 7th grade. I was the Historian for my OEA club in High school. I design for Mygrafico, Craft Us Crazy, Shannon's Sentiments, Paper Cupcakes, DtsArt, IDIC and Ready, Set, Create. I am also a Card Stylist for DRS Designs. I have been on Bella Digi Studio, Baby Buds, Inktegrity, Digi's With Attitude!, Fairy Knoll , Stamping Plus Scrap N teams and many GD spots. Gotta love stamping.

Craft it Forward and Maybe Win Big!

Craft for Charity – and a chance to win $500!

I wanted to let you know about a really cool charity movement that has just launched! It’s called Craft It Forward and it’s a great way to use your passion for crafting to make a difference in YOUR community. A handmade card can bring smiles to kids in the hospital and you can help us and our kids and maybe win by Crafting It Forward.

Here’s how it works: throughout 2011, visit the Craft It Forward website each month for a new downloadable pattern or design one of your own. Make the project or a card for kids and donate it to a charity that is near and dear to your heart, like SAS4Kids. Then, add your story to the Craft It Forward gallery for a chance to win $500 in cash and a $500 donation to a charity! They’ll be looking for stories to feature in the magazine and on the website, too. Click on the button on the side for more details at their site.

So join me and Craft It Forward throughout 2011. Just make a card for a child, enter it at Craft it Forward and send it to Send a Smile 4 Kids (with any others you have) to the address on this blog. You could also enter it if you wish in one of our fun challenges at our challenge blog to possibly win even more prizes.

For more information, visit the Craft it Forward website:
