SAS4Kids: April Accolades

Hi, everyone! Welcome back!

It was such fun to see so many wonderful Mom/Special Gal Cards in last month's gallery. Today, we are featuring three cards from last month's challenge. To visit our honorees' blogs, please click on the linked names.

We're suckers around here for shaped cards for our kids,
and this teacup shape is perfect for a Mom Card!
We're suckers for mess-free sparkly cards, too!
Melanie's use of embossing paste is a great way to add that extra sparkle.

Lastly, we're also pretty keen on slimline cards here.
And, this little piggy is sure to bring a big smile to a little face!

Congratulations, ladies! Great job!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us.

  • Be sure to grab out Top 3 badge to display on your blog.
  • If you would like to join us as a Guest Designer for a future challenge, email Sybrina at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com. Please include SAS4Kids DT in your email subject line.

Our current Cards-4-Dads-from-the-kids challenge urns until June 4. However, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge.

It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a young patient in one of the SAS4Kids hospitals would surely love it if you did. For information about donating cards, click on the tabs at the top of the blog. Please check our shippers' current needs  before sending cards their way.

As always, thanks so much for your support of SAS4Kids! We really appreciate it!

SAS4Kids: Cards 4 Dads

 Hi, everybody! Happy May!

It's the first Saturday of the month, which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge! Hooray!

These next few weeks are pretty busy times for our shippers, as we celebrate Moms and Dads. Our shippers have just finished work on their Mother's Day boxes... and now they are turning right around to get those Father's Day boxes ready to go. So, this month, to help our shippers with those Father's Day boxes, we are shining a spotlight on cards that our kids can give to their dads and/or special guys in their lives.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at what our gals have made for this Dads/Special Guys Challenge.

We hope you'll visit our designers' blogs for card design information. And, then we hope you'll stop back here to link up a card of your very own!

While our focus this month is on cards for the Dads/Special Guys in our kids' lives, any kid-friendly card can be linked up to play along with our challenge. It is not required that you donate your card to SAS4Kids after entering the challenge, but a young patient in one of our hospitals would surely love it if you did.

Our shippers recently updated their needs, and the great news is that many of the hospitals are receiving cards again. Hooray!!! If you are interested in donating cards, PLEASE check out our current shippers' needs.

As always, thank you so much for your support of SAS4Kids. Here's to seeing you in our May Gallery.
