SAS4Kids: June "Jems"

Hi, everyone! Thanks to everyone who linked up a card for our June challenge. It's always such great to see your fun kid cards in our gallery.

It's time for a few SAS4Kids shout-outs. Here are three cards that caught our DT's eyes.

3. A Rose

Isn't amazing how some cool scrapbook paper, matched
with a perfect sentiment, can create such a clever card?!

9. Melanie

Our team loved this sports-themed inspirational sentiment.
And, this card's neutral palette works really well for both guys and gals!

Our team also loved this card's inspirational message,
which lends itself to a card perfect for a tween/teen girl!

Congratulations, ladies! Great job!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us.

  • Be sure to grab our Top 3 badge to display on your blog.
  • If you would like to join us as a Guest Designer for a future challenge, email Sybrina at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com. Please include SAS4Kids DT in your email subject line.

Our current Christmas-in-July Cards 4 Kids Challenge runs until August 6. However, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge.

It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a young patient in one of the SAS4Kids hospitals would surely love it if you did. For information about donating cards, click on the tabs at the top of our blog. Please check your shippers' needs before sending cards their way.

As always, thank you for your support of SAS4Kids. We really appreciate it!

This Month's Challenge

If the summer heat's getting to you, we have a perfect cardmaking theme for the month. It's time to put on a little Christmas music and ink up a few holiday stamps. Yes! This month we are focusing on Christmas Cards 4 Kids. These are cards that loved ones and hospital staff members can give to the hospitalized children/teens/tweens.

We are honored to have two SAS4Kids cardmakers joining us as Guest Designers for this challenge. Deanne and Shell blog about their adventures in cardmaking at A Little Bit O' Paper and The Camels Hump, respectively. Thank you, Deanne and Shell, for playing along with us this month. We are thrilled you accepted our GDT invitation!

So, without any further ado, let's check out this month's holiday creations.

While we are focusing on Christmas cards this month, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for this month's challenge and you have until Friday August 6 to link up your creation. While you aren't required to donate your card to SAS4Kids to play along with us, one of our hospitalized patients would love it if you did. Card submission information can be found by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.

Remember, non-bloggers are now able to join in our challenge fun! If you are a non-blogging cardmaker who would like to link up a card, instructions can be found in THIS VIDEO. Note: The first half of the video is general InLinkz material that applies to setting up a blog InLinkz link. You will need to scroll down a bit to get to the part of the video that gives specific information for linking up a card image.

Thanks for your support of SAS4Kids. Hope to see you in our July gallery.
