SAS4Kids: June "Jems"

Hello, fellow crafty friends! Thanks to everyone who linked up a card for our June challenge. It's always such fun to see your kiddie cards... and last month's gallery included some fabulous teen/tween cards.

So, it's time for a few SAS4Kids shout-outs. Here are three cards that caught our DT's eyes.

#1 Deanne

While our focus last month was tween/teen cards, we just had
to give a shout-out to Deanne for this paper-pieced truck. Adorable!!!

#7 Arlene

Arlene's sophisticated, subdued palette and intricate dp makes
for a wonderful teen/tween birthday card. Very cool!

#8 Cornelia

Our gals were blown away by the amazing stenciled background
on this fun gamer-themed card. GGWP, Cornelia!

Congratulations, ladies! Great job!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us.

Our current Christmas-in-July Cards 4 Kids Challenge runs until August 4. However, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge.

It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a young patient in one of the SAS4Kids hospitals would surely love it if you did. For information about donating cards, click on the tabs at the top of our blog. Please check your shippers' needs before sending cards their way.

As always, thanks so much for all you do for SAS4Kids. Your cards put some big smiles on little faces.

SAS4Kids: Christmas-in-July Cards 4 Kids

Happy Saturday, everyone! Here's wishing everyone here in The States an early Happy Fourth!

Well, a lot of folks might be focusing on hotdogs, barbecues, sparklers and fireworks right about now. However, here at SAS4Kids, our thoughts have turned to Santa and his reindeer. Yes, it's time to pop in your favorite Christmas DVD and ink up a few snowmen and cut out a few Christmas trees to make holiday cards for our SAS4Kids hospitals.

Here are a few cards that loved ones and hospital staff members could give to an in-patient child/tween/teen.

While we are focusing on Christmas cards this month, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for this month's challenge and you have until Friday August 4 to link up your creation. While you aren't required to donate your linked-up card to SAS4Kids, one of our hospitalized patients would love it if you did. Card submission information can be found by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.

As always, thanks for your support of SAS4Kids. Hope to see you in our July gallery.
