Winter Fun 4 Kids and Intro of New DT Member!

It’s time for another fun challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids and this time our theme is Winter Fun 4 Kids. Your cards can be holiday cards or any winter themed cards.

But first we are thrilled to be saying Welcome to a new member of our TEAM S.A.S. design team! Joyce Morien has been a friend and member of our local stamp club with me for quite a while and lately she has been actively blogging at Paper Joy Boutique. I have always admired her stamping talent so when we had an opening I offered the spot to Joyce and am thrilled she accepted. Here is what Joyce shared with us to introduce herself:

“Everyone needs an outlet in their lives and mine is card making.  I've been doing crafts as long as I can remember.  The hobbies may have changed over the years but card making is my current and greatest obsession ever. 

I’ve been making cards for probably about 10 years now but my addiction to paper goes back long before that.  There are pictures of me cutting up the newspaper when I was about 3 years old.  One of my favorite games growing up was wrapping empty boxes into presents – making them into the prettiest packages ever. Not easy to do since all I had for supplies was newspaper and string.  Nothing like the amazing tools we all have now.

I have a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 25 years.  He is very understanding of my obsession with paper crafts and I am very grateful for that.  We have 22 year son who is a senior in college 3½ hours away from home. I am honored and thrilled to join the Send a Smile 4 Kids design team. “
