Welcome back, friends! As Mother's Day weekend approaches, we extend Mother's Day greetings to everyone who has loved or been loved by a child. If this holiday is a rough one, please give yourself permission to be gentle with yourself this next week.
Now that Mother's Day cards have been delivered to our hospitals, our Design Team has turned its attention to cards for dads and special guys. This challenge is to make a card for a child/teen/tween to give to a special man in his/her life. Please note that the deadline for getting Father's Day cards to our shippers is May 15. If you have any questions about mailing out your cards, please double check with your shipper. (And, this is the perfect time to send those summer-themed cards out, too.)
We are thrilled to have Andrea join as this month as a Guest Designer. Andrea, who shares her adventures in cardmaking at Andrea's Paper Antics, is a good friend to us here at Send a Smile 4 Kids... and her kiddie cards are always so darn cute! Thanks so much, Andrea, for all you do for SAS4Kids and for sharing your talents with us today!
Without further ado, let's take a look at what our DT came up with for this month's challenge.
What a great variety of dad/guy cards, right?!
You have until noon CST on Friday, June 2, to join in this month's challenge. While we have focused on Cards 4 Dads and Special Men, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up to play along. It is not required that you send your card to one of our shippers. but an in-patient child/tween/teen would love it if you did.
As always, thank you for all you do for our SAS4Kids. We can't wait to see your cards in our May gallery.
