SAS4Kids January Gems

(For our current challenge, scroll on down!)

It's another Top 3 Saturday here at Send a Smile 4 Kids! Today, we are featuring three cards from our SAS4Kids Valentines/Anything Goes Challenge. To visit our honorees' blogs, please click on the linked names.

Top 3 Card: #1 A. Rose
We loved how a funky strip served as a fabulous background
for a super sweet, beautifully-colored Valentine girl!
This vintage-look little gal, longingly looking at her birthday cupcake,
simply stole our hearts. And the coloring of those balloons... gorgeous!

Top 3 Card: #8 Nancy Hill
Soft, pastel papers and a pretty tree frame are the
perfect elements to pop this absolutely hug-worthy koala!

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us!
  • Be sure to grab our Top 3 badge to display on your blog.
  • If you would like to join us as a guest design team member on a future challenge, email Karen at khasheck at gmail dot com and she will get back to you with all the details.

Easter or Spring Cards 4 Kids OR Anything Goes 4 Kids

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids! Again this year, all challenges at SAS4Kids are Anything Goes 4 Kids! We will often have an alternative theme that you can choose to follow, but are not required to. Create and link any card that is appropriate for a child and your card could be chosen as one of our top three cards and you could join us as a guest dt member on a future challenge. We are also continuing as a monthly challenge so new challenges will be posted on the first Saturday of every month and you will have a whole month to make and link your cards.

The theme for this challenge is: Easter or Spring Cards 4 Kids OR Anything Goes 4 Kids.  It may be winter, but now is the time to make and send in Easter and Spring Cards to our volunteers. But always please check the “Current Needs” page before sending in cards to see which volunteer needs what for their hospitals and kids.

We are happy to have a previous top three winner join us today as a guest dt member. Nancy Hill shared this super sweet card with us for this challenge:

Now for some more great inspiration, here are the cards created by TEAM S.A.S. for this challenge. To visit any of their blogs, just click on the link above their card.

You have until the Friday March 6th at noon c.s.t. to enter this challenge.  After you do, please consider sending in your card(s) to cheer a child who is inpatient in one of our many children’s hospitals we serve. All the information you need is under the tabs at the top of the blog.
