SAS4Kids: Punny Sentiment Cards

 Hi, everyone! Happy weekend!

Yes, this is the first Saturday of a new month, which means it is time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge.

But before we get to our new challenge, I have the pleasure of announcing the April challenge participant who was randomly selected to join us as a Guest Designer. The lucky number was 4. Congratulations, Sue! Please email me at the following address to schedule your upcoming guest appearance, including SAS4Kids in the subject line:

And I also want to thank everyone who played along with our challenge. I apologize for not being able to leave comments for Crystal's and Sue's cards. Your cards were adorable!

Now for this month's challenge. This month we are thrilled to be joined by our Guest Designer  Deanne who shares her adventures in cardmaking at A Little Bit O' Paper. Deanne always makes the cutest kiddie cards and is the queen of Cricut designs. Thank you soooo very much, Deanne, for sharing your talent with us!

This month's theme is to make a punny sentiment card.... because kids love puns. These can be punny cards to be given to one of our kiddos. Or, it might be a punny card that one of the kids could give to his/her dad, brother, favorite uncle. You will see that all of our designers have made guy/Dad cards because May 15 is the deadline for getting Father's Day cards to your favorite shipper(s).

Please stop by and check out the details for our designers' sweet cards. Then stop back by to link up a card of your very own. You have until noon Friday June 6 to play along. Remember that while the cards here have focused on punny dad/guy cards, ANY kiddie-appropriate card can be shared.

Thanks so much for all you do for our SAS4Kids patients. We look forward to seeing your works-of-heart in this month's gallery.

SAS4Kids: Sketch-Inspired Cards 4 Kids

Hi, everyone! Happy weekend!

Yes, this is the first Saturday of a new month, which means it is time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge.

But before we get to our new challenge, I have the pleasure of announcing the March participant who has been randomly selected to join us as a Guest Designer. The lucky number was 18. Congratulations, Deanne! Please email me at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com, including SAS4Kids in the subject line, to schedule your upcoming guest appearance.

Now for this month's challenge. This month's theme is to make a sketch-inspired kiddie card. Any sketch at all. It can be an oldie-but-goldie that has become a tried-and-true favorite or a sketch featured in a current card challenge.

You will see that all of our designers have made mom cards. Around here, our Easter/spring deadline has passed, and our shippers are now focusing on mom/Mother's Day cards. These are cards that kids can give to the moms or special ladies in their lives. The April 15 deadline for getting these cards to your favorite shipper(s) is fast approaching.

SAS4Kids: New Guest Designer Opportunities

Hello, everyone! Happy weekend!

If you have stopped by to see featured cards from last month's gallery, we are changing things up a bit. Each month, we will be selecting at random at least one participant to join us as a guest designer for an upcoming challenge. If you linked up a card in February, please check your blog post's comments.

We'll be back on  April 5 with a new challenge. In the meantime, happy crafting!
