SAS4Kids: Animal Cards 4 Kids

Hi, everyone! It's the first Saturday of March, which means it's time for a new challenge for our kids. 

Before we get to our new challenge of this new year, I have the pleasure of announcing the February participant who has been randomly selected to join us as a Guest Designer. This month's lucky number was #3 Donna. 

Congratulations, Donna! Please be sure to send me an email, including SAS4Kids in the subject line, at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com to schedule your upcoming guest designer appearance. A huge shout-out to all those who played along with us our Birthday Cards 4 Kids challenge. Our shippers include birthday cards in every box of cards they send out. 

This month's challenge is Animal Cards 4 Kids. And, this month, we are thrilled to be joined by Arlene Rose, who just loves making animal cards. Arlene shares her adventures in card making at Sundaystamper Papercrafts. Arlene plays along with a number of different challenges... and we are quite happy that she is a regular here at SAS4Kids. While you aren't required to donate your linked-up card to SAS4Kids, one of our hospitalized patients surely would love it if you did. SAS4Kids: Birthday Cards 4 Kids

Hi, everyone! Thank you for joining us for a new challenge here at SAS4Kids. 

It's certainly been chilly here... and downright frigid in some parts of the country. Hope you have a warm and cozy crafty space to while away these winter days.

We have just a few weeks before we start our spring holiday push. In the hope of helping our shippers stock up on birthday cards beforehand, today we are featuring birthday cards 4 our cards. And, please note the upcoming March deadline for those Easter cards.

    Upcoming deadlines:
    Easter - March 10
    Mother's Day - April 15
    Father's Day - May 15

SAS4Kids: Sports-Themed Cards 4 Kids

Hello and Happy 2026! All of us here at SAS4Kids hope you have enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and have created lots of special memories with your loved ones.

Before we get to our first challenge of this new year, I have the pleasure of announcing the December participant who has been randomly selected to join us as a Guest Designer. This month's lucky number was 2 Cozy Season. 

Congratulations, Jose! Please be sure to send me an email, including SAS4Kids in the subject line, at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com to schedule your upcoming guest designer appearance. A huge shout-out to all those who played along with us last month. Favorite holiday color combo was a new challenge for us, and it was fun to see some of our card makers' favorite color combos. It looks like a traditional fall palette is a crowd favorite. 

We were wondering what would be a good first challenge for this new year... and then it hit me smack dab in the face. I don't think there's been a day that's gone by in the last month when there hasn't been at least one football or basketball game on our television. Yep, I married a coach. LOL

So, our first 2026 challenge is Sports-Themed Cards 4 Kids. You can go with the standard media favorites, like football, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf or hockey. Or you could go with sports that receive less media attention, like volleyball, bowling, or ice fishing. Maybe make a card for a sport that holds a special place in the heart of a daughter, granddaughter, son, or grandson.

A quick reminder that the deadline for Valentine's Day cards is January 15. Please reach out to your favorite shipper(s) if you have cards that aren't going to arrive by the 15th.
