SAS4Kids: February Favorites

Hi, everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.

A huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who made spring/Easter cards this year for our in-patient kids. With Easter just a few weeks away, our shippers are busy packing up their hospitals' holiday boxes.

Spring/Easter cards can be so cute, so fun, and so colorful. Here are three cards from last month's gallery that caught the eyes of our designers.

2. Arlene

Cute is the perfect word to describe this fluffle of bunnies...
and Arlene's sweet design is CAS perfection!

You all know how much we love fun fold cards around here
and Dreja's critters take this card's fun element to whole other level!

Ma-Mi's card is a master class in colors,
from that pretty wreath to her beautifully colored bunny!

Congratulations, ladies! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us.

  • Be sure to grab our Top 3 badge to display on your blog.

Our current challenge runs until April 1. While we are featuring Cards 4 Boys this month, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge. It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a hospitalized kiddie/tween/teen would surely appreciate it if you did.

Thanks so much for your support of SAS4Kids. We can't thank you enough for all the smiles you bring to our SAS4Kids patients and their families.

SAS4Kids: Cards 4 Boys

Hi, everyone! Thanks for joining us for a new challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids!

As our shippers ramp up their efforts to ship out boxes of spring/Easter cards to our hospitals, our Design Team turns its attention to cards 4 boys. Our shippers always do a special happy dance when they receive great guy cards from their cardmakers.

So, without further ado, here are a few guy cards our gals created for this month's challenge. You'll see some of the cards include boy-favorite images like toads and pirates, while other cards feature more subdued palettes/patterns. Sometimes a mere change in paper selection is all that it takes to give a card a boy feel.

You have until noon CST on Friday, April 1, to join in this current challenge. While we have focused on Cards 4 Boys, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up to play along. It is not required that you send your card to one of our shippers. but an in-patient child/teen would love it if you did.

Thank you soooo much for your support of SAS4Kids. We can't wait to see what you share with us in this month's gallery.
