SAS4Kids: May Marvels

 Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!

Great guy cards can be hard to come by but you'd never know that from the cards linked up in our May gallery.  A special thank you to everyone who sent Dad/Guy Cards to their favorite shipper(s). I'm sure your creations put big smiles on the faces of our in-patient kiddos and their dads.

Here are three cards that caught the eyes of our Design Team gals.

#1 Arlene

We just loved all the texture and dimension Arlene
incorporated into this monochromatic tribute to Dad.

Marlene wowed us with this tranquil, serene scene.
What a perfect card for a dad that loves the outdoors!

#11 Melanie

Melanie's stunning Father's Day card features
a striking stenciled background and two gold-heat-embossed vellum feathers.

Congratulations, ladies! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us.

  • Be sure to grab our Top 3 badge to display on your blog.
  • If you would like to join us as a Guest Designer for a future challenge, email Sybrina at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com. Please include SAS4Kids in the subject line.

Our current challenge is making cards for our tween/teen patients and runs until July 1. However, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge. It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a hospitalized kiddie/tween/teen surely would appreciate it if you did.

As always, thank you for all you do for SAS4Kids. We can't thank you enough for all the smiles you bring to our SAS4Kids patients and their families.

SAS4Kids: Cards 4 Tweens/Teens

Hello and happy summer everyone! Thanks so much for joining us for our June challenge! This month’s challenge is to create and link a card a teen or a tween would love. That kind of card is one our hospitals are often asking for, so after creating a card for this challenge, please consider sending it in to cheer a teen or tween inpatient in one of our hospitals.

Here are the cards our talented design team created for special teens or tweens:

You have until noon CST on Friday, July 1, to join in this challenge. While today's post has focused on Cards 4 Teens/Tweens, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up to play along. It is not required that you send your card to one of our shippers. but an in-patient child/teen surely would love it if you did.

We can't tell you how much we appreciate all our cardmakers do for our SAS4Kids. You all are the best and we can't wait to see your works of heart in our June gallery!
