Karen here with important news for followers of SAS4Kids. As most of you probably know, the Feedburner Subscription service is ending in July 2021. So, if you are a subscriber to our blog, you will not continue getting our blogposts in your email unless you make a change.

Many other bloggers are now using FOLLOW.IT as their new subscription service and we have now added that to our blog.

  • It is the first box on the right side of our challenge blog.
    •  Please add your email address there and click subscribe.
    • You will get an email from follow.it to confirm your new subscription. Please do so.

We greatly appreciate our subscribers, followers and participants in our challenges and of course, all who send in their cards for our kids. We hope you are having a great summer and will continue to support Send A Smile 4 Kids!

SAS4Kids: May Marvels

Hello! Hope your summer is off to a fabulous start!

Huge kudos to everyone who linked up a card in May. Our gallery had so many amazing cards, including wonderful cards for those special guys in our kids' lives. Thank you, all!

Here are three cards that caught our eye.

This card's base is an amazing mash-up of gray cardstock and cool dp.
And, who doesn't love an elephant in overalls?!!!

A DTer described Tristan's creation as "an adorable dorky card with hugs".
Couldn't have said it better myself! Too cute!!!

Our team loved how this starburst of colors splashed color around entire card!
And, that raised "Big HUGS" design is sure to bring a Big SMILE to its recipient.

Congratulations, ladies! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

  • Be sure to grab our Top 3 badge from our sidebar to display on your blog.
  • If you would like to join us as a Guest Designer for a future challenge, email Sybrina at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com. Please include SAS4Kids DT in your email subject line.

Our current challenge is Tween/Teen Cards 4 Kids and runs through July 2. However, any kid-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge.

It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a young patient in one of the SAS4Kids hospitals would surely love it if you did. For information about donating cards, click on the tabs at the top of the blog. Please check our current shippers' needs before sending cards their way.

As always, thanks so much for your support of SAS4Kids! We really appreciate it... more than you can possibly know.  :)

SAS4Kids: Tween/Teen Cards

Hi, everyone! Happy June! Yes, June. Not quite sure how that's happened, but it really is time for our June challenge.

Our shippers are recovering from a pretty busy stretch of sending out cards, jumping from Valentines and bunnies to flowers (for moms) and guy-things (for dads). (Thank you so much, shippers! You are truly our unsung heroes!) So, our DT is taking advantage of this lull in the action to focus on our tween/teen patients. When I was shipping for Nationwide Children's, I was always excited to receive cards for our older patients.

In addition to having some fabulous DT cards to share, we are thrilled to welcome two incredibly talented Guest Designers. Thank you, Bernadet and Melanie, for sharing your talents with us!!!!!

Any kiddie-appropriate can be linked up for this month's challenge, and you have until July 2 to link up your creation. While you aren't required to donate your card to SAS4Kids to play along with us, one of our hospitalized patients would love it if you did. Card submission information can be found by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.

And now, for the very first time, non-bloggers are able to join in our challenge fun! Yes! If you are a non-blogging cardmaker who would like to link up a card, instructions can be found in THIS VIDEO. Note: the first half of the video is general InLinkz material that applies to setting up a blog InLinkz link. You will need to scroll down a bit to get to the part of the video that gives specific information for linking up your card's image.

As always, thanks to everyone for your support of SAS4Kids. Hope to see you all in our June gallery.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
