SAS4Kids: Cards 4 Moms/Special Ladies

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to SAS4Kids! Thanks so much for joining us for our April challenge.

Because the deadline for getting Mom cards to your favorite shippers is fast approaching, this month we are featuring cards for our kids to give to their moms and all the special ladies in their lives. Sounds like a perfect time to ink up some flowers, cut out some hearts, and maybe use some of those designer papers that are almost too pretty to part with.

This month, we are thrilled to welcome back Deanne Saunders, who shares her adventures in cardmaking at A Little Bit o' Paper, as a Guest Designer. Thank you, Deanne, for once again sharing your amazing talents with us! The kids will love the bit of sparkle on your sweet card and an SAS4Kids shipper will love your sentiment's versatility.

SAS4Kids: February Favorites

Hi, everyone! Happy Weekend! We hope you all are doing well after recent weather events.

A huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who made spring/Easter cards this year for our in-patient kids. With Easter just a few weeks away, our shippers are busy packing up their hospitals' spring/Easter boxes. (Please note: Our deadline for sending in Easter cards has passed. So please contact your shipper(s) ASAP if you have Easter cards you were planning on dropping in the mail. Thank you!)

Spring/Easter cards can be so cute, so fun, and so colorful. Here are three cards from last month's gallery that caught the eyes of our designers.

8. Andrea's Paper Antics

Nothing says spring like pastel colors and flowers, right?!
And, we love, love, love interactive cards around these parts.

12, For Each Petal...

What a cute image... and what fabulous coloring.
Great job, Lisa!

15. I Luv Scrapping Too

Suzanne's perfectly-colored bunny gnome is so cute...
and that stitched background is awesome!

Congratulations, ladies! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us.

SAS4Kids January Gems

 Hi, everyone! Welcome back!

Our thanks to everyone who played along with last month's Love/Valentines 4 Kids Challenge and/or sent cards to our shippers. It can be tough gearing up to make Valentine cards so soon after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. We appreciate all of our wonderful card makers who did just that. You all are the best!

Our January Gallery was filled with adorable cards. Here are three that caught our eyes. It's interesting how these cards were created using such vastly different techniques: intense masking and inking, using some fun stickers, and creating an intricate high-tech pattern. Yet, these three different techniques resulted in three fabulous kiddie cards. Great job, ladies!

Karen masterfully inked a rainbow-colored card
that a tween/teen will love receiving!

Alicia's letter-bearing gnomes are sure to bring a huge smile to a little face!

And, Deanne's shaped critter card is just so stinkin' cute!

Congratulations, ladies! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us.

Thanks for stopping by. And, as always, thank you for all you do for our SAS4Kids patients.

A huge thank you to everyone who played along with last month's Winter Cards 4 Kids Challenge. Your December cards are always so darn cute, and last month our gallery was filled with lots of adorable critters! Here are three cards that caught our DT's eyes.

Allisa combined colorful paper with a gorgeous sentiment
to create a quick card that packs a big punch. Such a cheery card!

Nothing says "wintry" like an igloo.
And, what's more fun than Elizabeth's colony of penguins?!

11. Carrie
We just loved this adorable 2023 stamp on Carrie's card.
More adorable penguins? Yes, please!
