SAS4Kids: June "Jems"

Hi, everyone! Thanks to everyone who linked up a card for our June challenge. It's always such a pleasure to see your fun kid cards in our gallery, and last month you all created some amazing teen/tween cards.

So, it's time for a few SAS4Kids shout-outs. Here are three cards that caught our DT's eyes.

#5 Arlene R

The bold, bright colors on this card were created using alcohol inks.
Talk about a wow factor. A huge wow factor!

#14 Deanne

The gals loved the clean, crisp look of this sophisticated card.
And don't you just love these images for a teen/tween card?!

#15 Maxine D

Our team was blown away by this intricate dragon stamp.
This dragon is another example of a great image for a teen/tween card!

Congratulations, ladies! Great job!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us.

SAS4Kids: Christmas in July

Happy Saturday, everyone! Hope you are in the midst of a wonderful holiday weekend with family, friends, and loved ones.

If the summer heat is starting to get to you, we have a perfect cardmaking theme this month. It's time to pop in your favorite Christmas DVD and ink up a few Santas and reindeer. Yes! This month we are focusing on Christmas Cards 4 Kids. These are cards that loved ones and hospital staff members can give to the hospitalized children/teens/tweens.

So, without any further ado, let's check out this month's holiday creations.

While we are focusing on Christmas cards this month, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for this month's challenge and you have until Friday August 5 to link up your creation. While you aren't required to donate your linked-up card to SAS4Kids, one of our hospitalized patients would love it if you did. Card submission information can be found by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.

As always, thanks for your support of SAS4Kids. Hope to see you in our July gallery. And enjoy your holiday weekend!

SAS4Kids: May Marvels

 Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!

Great guy cards can be hard to come by but you'd never know that from the cards linked up in our May gallery.  A special thank you to everyone who sent Dad/Guy Cards to their favorite shipper(s). I'm sure your creations put big smiles on the faces of our in-patient kiddos and their dads.

Here are three cards that caught the eyes of our Design Team gals.

#1 Arlene

We just loved all the texture and dimension Arlene
incorporated into this monochromatic tribute to Dad.

Marlene wowed us with this tranquil, serene scene.
What a perfect card for a dad that loves the outdoors!

#11 Melanie

Melanie's stunning Father's Day card features
a striking stenciled background and two gold-heat-embossed vellum feathers.

Congratulations, ladies! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us.

However, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge. It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a hospitalized kiddie/tween/teen surely would appreciate it if you did.
