SAS4Kids: Cute Fall/Halloween Cards 4 Kids

It's the first Saturday in September... which means it's time for a new challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids. Before we get to this month's theme, we have a winner to announce.

I have the pleasure of announcing the August participant who has been randomly selected to join us as a Guest Designer. The lucky number was 4. Congratulations, Tinyworks! Please email me at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com, including SAS4Kids in the subject line, to schedule your upcoming guest appearance. And a huge shout-out to all those who played along with us last month. Looks like there's nothing like an Anything Goes Challenge to get those creative juices flowing.

And, speaking of creative juices, Halloween is a perennial crowd favorite with our SAS4Kids card makers. This is the time of year to cut out some ghosts and ink up some punkins to make cute fall/Halloween cards for our SAS4Kids kiddos. As you can see, the deadline to get fall/Halloween cards to our shippers will be here before we know it.

    Upcoming deadlines:
    Cute Fall/Halloween - October 5
    Thanksgiving - November 5
    Christmas/Winter Cards - December 5

This month, we are so excited to have two SAS4Kids card makers joining us as Guest Designers. Two! Double the fun!!! Both gals are such loyal SAS4Kids crafters. We cannot thank them enough for all they do for us throughout the year.

We are thrilled to welcome back Arlene, who has a knack for clean, crisp designs and great color combinations. Arlene's adventures in crafting, where she shares a wide range of card-making styles and techniques, can be found at Sundaystamper Papercrafts

We are also thrilled to welcome back Donna. Donna writes about her card-making exploits at design by Donna. When you visit her blog, you will find that she loves putting her own spin on challenge sketches and has quite the collection of fun designer paper.

Arlene and Donna, thank you so very much for joining us today! And, thank you for all you do for SAS4Kids!  Appreciate you!!!

With no further ado. here are this month's cards!

We have one more month before we start focusing on fall and winter holidays. We thought this would be a perfect time for an Anything Goes challenge theme. Maybe you want to get an early start on those fall/Halloween or Christmas cards, inking up some jack-o-lanterns or Santas. Or maybe you prefer to make a few generic, non-specific themed cards to send to your favorite shipper(s).

This month,we have decided to feature birthday cards for the kids. Our shippers are always in need of birthday cards. Year round.   :)
