It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge here at Send a
Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is Punches
and/or Diecuts 4 Kids. Create and link any card for a child featuring
punches and/or diecuts and you could win one of our great prizes.
We have three very generous sponsors this week: Delicious Doodles is
giving their winner 4 digis of their choice! And
Sassy Studios is giving their randomly picked winner 4 digis of their choice! QKR Stampede’s winner will receive 5 digis of their choice! TEAM S.A.S will also be choosing their
favorite cards for our top three and the winners will receive a blog badge and
an opportunity to be a guest design team member on a future challenge.
Today is doubly exciting for us here at Send a Smile 4 Kids
because we get to introduce a new member of TEAM S.A.S. to you. Angie Boutiller
has been a frequent player in our challenges and has been chosen for the Top
Three. She has a wonderful blog here and is a great supporter of our cause. We asked
Angie to share some words to introduce herself to you and this is what she
shared:
My name is Angela
Boutiller. I was born, raised, and still reside in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
I married my husband, George. We have been together for 18 years. We have 5
children (4 boys and 1 girl). (Trent, 15; Haden, 13; Riley, 10; George,9,
Alex, 7. ) Seriously, I am a self professed book nerd! I tend
to overuse the ellipses I don't know what God was thinking when he blessed me
with rough and tough boys that play just about every sport. My life is a work
in progress and always chaotic! I have just completed my 12th year of teaching
7th grade. I am a Special Education Teacher. At the start of the new school
year, I'll be teaching 12th grade! This is going to be a big change for me but
I am excited. I started making cards a year ago this month. I needed a hobby!
I can spend hours coloring an image with my beloved Copic markers. I
really like making cards and sending them to where I know it will put a smile
on someone's face. I donate to Operation Write Home, SAS4K, Cards for
Hospitalized Kids, and I am an approved angel through the Soldiers' Angels
organization. I am a member of the Letter Writing Team. I make cards, write a
letter inside, and send it off to a deployed military service member. I am so
looking forward to being a part of your team.
We are thrilled to have Angie as a part of our team and here are
the cards she created for this challenge with our sponsor’s images:
We are also happy to have a guest designer from QKR Stampede
sharing a card with us today! Thank you Mian for this fun holiday card featuring QKR
digis and punches and diecuts:
