SAS4Kids January Gems

 Hi, everyone! Welcome back!

Our thanks to everyone who played along with last month's Love/Valentines 4 Kids Challenge and/or sent cards to our shippers. It can be tough gearing up to make Valentine cards so soon after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. We appreciate all of our wonderful card makers who did just that. You all are the best!

Our January Gallery was filled with adorable cards. Here are three that caught our eyes. It's interesting how these cards were created using such vastly different techniques: intense masking and inking, using some fun stickers, and creating an intricate high-tech pattern. Yet, these three different techniques resulted in three fabulous kiddie cards. Great job, ladies!

Karen masterfully inked a rainbow-colored card
that a tween/teen will love receiving!

Alicia's letter-bearing gnomes are sure to bring a huge smile to a little face!

And, Deanne's shaped critter card is just so stinkin' cute!

Congratulations, ladies! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us.
  • Be sure to grab our Top 3 badge to display on your blog.
  • If you would like to join us a Guest Designer for a future challenge, email Sybrina at cards[dot]by[dot]sybrina[at]gmail[dot]com. Please include SAS4Kids in the subject line.
Our current Spring/Easter Cards 4 Kids Challenge runs until March 3. While we are featuring Spring/Easter 4 Kids this month, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for the challenge.

It is not required that you donate your card after entering, but a hospitalized kiddie/tween/teen would surely appreciate it if you did. This year, the deadline for getting Easter cards to your favorite shipper(s) is March 12.... which will be here before we know it. Right?

Thanks for stopping by. And, as always, thank you for all you do for our SAS4Kids patients.
