SAS4Kids: Food Cards 4 Kids!

Hello, everyone! Happy Saturday! Happy October! Happy World Cardmaking Day! Thanks for joining us here at Send a Smile 4 Kids for a new kiddie card challenge. 

Before we get to this month's theme, we have our lucky September challenge winner to announce.

Every so often we mix things up a bit. challengewise. This month, while thinking about possible challenge themes, we took a look at National Days in October. We were amazed to find not one... not two... not three... but SEVEN food days.

October 15: National Chocolate Cupcake Day

October 17: National Pasta Day

October 21: National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day

October 23: National Boston Cream Pie Day

October 28: National Chocolate Day

So, Food Cards 4 Kids is our October theme. And, as you will see, our DT came up with lots of other food inspiration: Hamburgers, Picnic Goodies, Eggs, and Donuts! Oh, My!

Just a reminder that our deadline for Cute Fall/Halloween cards is this Monday. Yep, just two days away. If you still have a few ghosts or goblins to send to your favorite shipper(s), please reach out to her/them ASAP.  Thank you!

While we are featuring Food Cards 4 Kids this month, any kiddie-appropriate card can be linked up for this month's challenge. You have until Friday, November 6 to link up your creation. While you aren't required to donate your card to SAS4Kids in order to play along, one of our hospitalized patients would love it if you did. Card guidelines and shipper information can be found by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.
